Darryl Rode
After ten years as a successful news videographer and editor
for KYW in Philadelphia, Darryl Rode struck out on his own opening
Keystone Pictures in 1991. His creativity and attention to detail
enable him to take the viewer past the lens and into people’s lives. Darryl’s unique style is what has made him so in demand. Since the beginning of his career, his talents have brought him much attention, including several regional and national Emmy’s.
Through it all, he counts himself lucky to have a craft he loves
even more today than when he began over 20 years ago.
Rob Marish
What began as a hobby and a passion has become a highly successful
career. Rob Marish has made his mark on both the big and small
screens. Rob’s creative flair and artist’s eye allows him to create beautiful pictures on film and video. His love for the business has taken him from the field to the edit room. He is an accomplished AVID and Final Cut Pro editor who loves to see an idea grow from beginning to end. He recently shot 15 episodes in High Definition of "My
First Place," airing Friday nights on HGTV. He also was "A" camera for the full run Endemol USA's "Back On Campus," on
ABC Family.
Andy Obeck
Andy Obeck graduated in 1994 from Kutztown University, with a
bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and a minor in Business Administration. Andy’s education and experience in the industry has advanced him to becoming a partner in Keystone Pictures, Inc, and a very successful Director of Photography, his passion. Andy spent six seasons as a lead Director of Photography for "Trading Spaces." Other credits consist of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "Trip of a Lifetime," "Rip +
Renew," "Hidden Potential," and many other television shows airing on
ABC, ABC Family, Discovery, HGTV, Food Network, Sprout, DIY and TLC.
Timothy Obeck
Timothy Obeck graduated in 2001 from York College of Pennsylvania
with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, with an emphasis on Television & Film Production. Following graduation, Tim began his freelance career as a sound engineer, but quickly moved up to Director of Photography in 2003, when he took on a long-term contract with Keystone Pictures. Since joining Keystone full time, Tim has worked on
numerous projects, including ESPN's "For the Glory," Style Network's
new "Married Away," and TLC's "Trading Spaces," on which he has shot
over 40 episodes. Tim's most recent project is "Rip + Renew" on HGTV.
Tim’s personal and professional strengths include his artistic perception, a high level of enthusiasm and reliability, team management, and maintaining high standards for quality control and problem solving.
B.J. Schmidt
Since the age of 7, when he cataloged the parts of
the family car on film, Robert "B.J." Schmidt has been
obsessed with photography. After attending Drexel
University in 2003, B.J. began working within the industry.
B.J. began as a grip, then worked his way up to the
position of audio mixer, from which he was able to observe
and learn from many unique and established DP's. Today, B.J. has put that education to
good use, serving as a series D.P. on "Make a Move" for
the DIY network, as well as projects for TLC, HGTV,
NBC, and National Geographic, in addition to his work for corporate clients such as McNeil and Merck Pharmaceuticals. B.J.
believes that every production deserves its own
style. Whether it's style, lighting, or movement, it all
adds up to make a memorable story. In addition to
photography skills, a DP today requires the technical
abilities to get the best image for the edit, and B.J.
is as comfortable navigating the menus as he is working the lens.
JP Daly
In 2001, JP took on a long-term contract with Keystone Pictures
as an audio operator, and is now emerging as a top-notch videographer.
Since joining Keystone full time, JP has worked on numerous
projects, including acting as DP on Comcast's "Sprout TV," and audio engineer
on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," and TLC’s "Trading Spaces." On "Trading Spaces," JP has operated audio on over 100
episodes. Additionally, he was lead sound engineer on Endemol
Entertainment's "Back on Campus" for ABC Family, and the first season
of High Noon Entertainment's "My First Place" for HGTV. JP’s
personal and professional strengths include his ability to get along with anyone
in any situation, his creative eye and ear, and his ability to start and finish a job with professionalism & excellence.
Robert Baliszewski
Robert Baliszewski was born in Poland, where he first learned
about capturing images on film. As a child, he took his
mother’s camera out on hikes in the Polish countryside, and quickly developed his love of photography and of the beauty found in it. He immigrated to the U.S., where he excelled in Temple University’s
highly regarded film program, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honors. Upon
graduation Robert has worked as a Director of Photography and Camera Operator
for the past five years. His clients have included some of the biggest names in
broadcast and cable television, including ABC, NBC, Fox, MTV, Discovery Networks,
and countless others. Along the way, Robert has never lost the passion he had as a young boy, and considers each new job a chance to make something beautiful. He is proficient in HD, DBeta, BetaSP, DVCam, DVCPRO, and MiniDV.
